"I have always understood movement as a way of telling stories. My journey began in the circus, exploring aerial and acrobatic disciplines, until pole dance appeared as the place where I could unite technique, dance, and expression. Since then, I have spent over a decade researching my own language on the bar, seeking to make each piece dialogue with those who observe it. My work stems from the fusion of acrobatics and contemporary sensibility, featuring pieces that prioritize emotion, honesty, and art's capacity to provoke reflection."

"I don't dance with steps, I dance with emotions.
Within every movement lives a story: of freedom, fire, and tenderness.
For me, the stage is the place where music becomes breath and the body speaks louder than words.
Today, I'm not just going out to dance, I'm going out to be myself."

"It all started with dreaming together and sharing ideas, which we then brought to life through training, creating new tricks and transitions, choreographing, and now, our very first event: Pole Art Showcase. It’s a space to share our art and to give other artists the stage to do the same for all kinds of audiences.
With twelve years of individual experience and two years of working together as a duo, this year we are presenting a brand-new piece that represents our connection and the world we’ve been building over time."

"A Physiotherapy graduate, she successfully balanced her university studies with her artistic career. Around 2009, she began training in various circus disciplines, including aerial silks, hoop, and harness dance. Since then, she has been a part of several international circus-theater companies and remains an active performer with them.
She discovered pole dance around 2012 and sought to carve out a unique, creative style by blending all the performing arts that cross paths in her life. She has competed in numerous championships with excellent results, and in 2016, she co-founded her own studio, Polemicos, alongside Mamalui."

"Celia and Juan Fran share a common pursuit: finding the exact space where pole and dance cease to be separate disciplines and merge into a single language.
Their work is born from the intersection of two bodies that listen to, support, and transform each other's movement. Drawing from pole flow research and the influence of contemporary dance, they explore a creative process rooted in organic flow, intricate detail, and deep connection. The pole becomes more than just a physical apparatus—it is the axis around which they build their own universe.
They are fascinated by what happens between bodies: the tension and the support, the shared weight, the counter-balances, the collective breath. Together, they inhabit an intimate space where movement is born from active listening, and where every gesture seeks to reveal something essential and human.
Their pieces are an invitation to step into an ephemeral bubble of balance and vulnerability—a place where technique dissolves into pure presence, and where dance becomes a true form of connection."
